Summer Lovin’ – Part 6: Always Never Love

By Matt Deuel

Summer! What a great time of year. The warmth & the sunshine. The cookouts & the fireworks. The camping & the road trips. The fairs & festivals. But mainly: The Church. NO!!!! We don’t mean, going to church, we mean being the church….on the go. What if this was the year the church became the highlight of our families’ and friends’ summer? What if the church became people’s favorite memory this season? What if that happened because everywhere the church went, people felt seen and heard and honored and celebrated and forgiven? What if this summer the church insisted on bringing the love wherever it went? Join us for a series in 1 Corinthians 13 as we learn what that looks like.

Unwrapped – Part 4: I Want More Gifts

By Kondo Simfukwe

What good is a gift if you never unwrap it? What good is it if you never get to discover and enjoy all it holds? God has given the church one of His greatest gifts: The Holy Spirit! And yet, because of fear or unawareness or past experiences, many of us have chosen to leave The Holy Spirit undiscovered and unenjoyed. How might our lives and worlds be different if we decided to unwrap and engage Him?

Most of us long to be truly successful in our walks with God so we determine to do more for Him, we work harder to sin less against. But way too often we find our efforts short-lived as we weary or give in again. What if true success in our growth in God is much simpler than we make it? What if what He wants from us is much less complicated? Don’t miss Sunday as we process a single, simple thought on how we might see more sustained growth in our lives.

In this new series, we will process the biblical ingredients for cultivating An INVINCIBLE Church.

Joy and Peace? Hardly! For many the Christmas season is nothing more than a reminder of loss and longing. So how can the church still claim it to be the most wonderful time of the year? Truth and Hope? Nonsense! For many the Christmas story is nothing more than a make-believe fairytale for the unthinking. So, why do we still claim it to be truth you can stake your life upon?

Join us as we let the Bible defend Christmas….maybe even instill hope and return joy!

Rebuildable – Part 7: Not About A Wall

By Kondo Simfukwe

Sadly, it takes way too little to convince us that there is way too much brokenness in the world around us. Broken Families. Hurting Homes. Divided Races. Crippling Poverty. Unwanted Children. Confusion. Loneliness. Addiction. It can often feel overwhelming and beyond repair. But what we believe as a church is that nothing is so broken in our world that our God cannot restore it. In fact, He loves to rebuild the very things that seem beyond repair.

What we too often miss or forget is the truth that God loves to restore what’s broken in our world…THROUGH US. But, how?

In this series we will meet a man who God used to restore what seemed irreparable. We trust Nehemiah will help us learn what it looks like to be God’s rebuilders in our world.

Psalm 23 – Every Move You Make

by Kondo Simfukwe

Sometimes God seems so big…sometimes He feels too far. Sometimes I want to shout His praise…sometimes I cannot think of a reason to. Sometimes I know He loves me…sometimes I’m sure He never could. Sometimes I think He is looking for an excuse to bless me…sometimes I think He is looking for a reason to get rid of me. Sometimes I think He lets people who don’t care about Him laugh more than those who do…okay, often times. Sometimes I think He is carrying my pain…sometimes it feels like He is mocking it. Sometimes I wonder if it’s ever okay to tell Him any of my “sometimes.” Is it?

Join us for the seventh and final week of looking at a few of the most well-known Psalms. Let’s meet some people, just like us, who dared to get raw and real with God only to discover Him to be The ALWAYS in our sometimes.
