One of the greatest dangers for a growing church like ours is the tendency to
settle. It is so tempting to want God to repeat our favorite experiences and keep us in familiar places. The problem is that when the church stops moving forward and chooses to stay….it starts to die. We believe God is constantly on the move, and if we long to be a movement we must continue to move with Him. Listen in to this 3-week conversation about where we believe God is taking us next.

Summer! What a great time of year. The warmth & the sunshine. The cookouts & the fireworks. The camping & the road trips. The fairs & festivals. But mainly: The Church. NO!!!! We don’t mean, going to church, we mean being the church….on the go. What if this was the year the church became the highlight of our families’ and friends’ summer? What if the church became people’s favorite memory this season? What if that happened because everywhere the church went, people felt seen and heard and honored and celebrated and forgiven? What if this summer the church insisted on bringing the love wherever it went? Join us for a series in 1 Corinthians 13 as we learn what that looks like.

What good is a gift if you never unwrap it? What good is it if you never get to discover and enjoy all it holds? God has given the church one of His greatest gifts: The Holy Spirit! And yet, because of fear or unawareness or past experiences, many of us have chosen to leave The Holy Spirit undiscovered and unenjoyed. How might our lives and worlds be different if we decided to unwrap and engage Him?

Sadly, it takes way too little to convince us that there is way too much brokenness in the world around us. Broken Families. Hurting Homes. Divided Races. Crippling Poverty. Unwanted Children. Confusion. Loneliness. Addiction. It can often feel overwhelming and beyond repair. But what we believe as a church is that nothing is so broken in our world that our God cannot restore it. In fact, He loves to rebuild the very things that seem beyond repair.
What we too often miss or forget is the truth that God loves to restore what’s broken in our world…THROUGH US. But, how?
In this series we will meet a man who God used to restore what seemed irreparable. We trust Nehemiah will help us learn what it looks like to be God’s rebuilders in our world.

Sometimes God seems so big…sometimes He feels too far. Sometimes I want to shout His praise…sometimes I cannot think of a reason to. Sometimes I know He loves me…sometimes I’m sure He never could. Sometimes I think He is looking for an excuse to bless me…sometimes I think He is looking for a reason to get rid of me. Sometimes I think He lets people who don’t care about Him laugh more than those who do…okay, often times. Sometimes I think He is carrying my pain…sometimes it feels like He is mocking it. Sometimes I wonder if it’s ever okay to tell Him any of my “sometimes.” Is it?
Join us for the fifth week of looking at a few of the most well-known Psalms. Let’s meet some people, just like us, who dared to get raw and real with God only to discover Him to be The ALWAYS in our sometimes.
